Join Janelle for a blissful and calming yoga class followed by savasana with acupuncture by Kate Macmillan from Blue Thistle Acupuncture. A slow and grounding practice will prepare the body for savasana where Kate will apply acupuncture to further reduce stress and bring ease into the body and mind. The ear points will be coupled with the acupuncture point "Yin Tang" which has the indication of calming the spirit. As an option, students will be offered an "ear seed" or "ear pellet" which adheres to the ear and can stay on for 3-5 days. Benefits of acupuncture include stress relief, pain reduction, reduced anxiety, calming the nervous system and overall relaxation.
